  5. To install Graphic Workshop for Windows on your hard drive:
  6.  
  7.     1. If you have received Graphic Workshop in an archive, such as 
  8.        a ZIP file, place the contents of the archive on a floppy 
  9.        disk. If you have received Graphic Workshop on a floppy disk 
  10.        directly from Alchemy Mindworks, this has already been done 
  11.        for you.
  12.     2. Place the disk in a floppy drive of your computer.
  13.     3. Open the File menu of the Windows program manager and select Run.
  14.     4. In the Run dialog box, type A:SETUP or B:SETUP, as is appropriate.
  15.     5. Follow the installer instructions... the Setup application will 
  16.        prompt you as required.

  18. Graphic Workshop for Windows has been rewitten for release 1.1. If you've 
  19. used an older version of the software, you'll find this one considerably 
  20. different.

  22. To begin with, it will come up in Thumbnail mode. You will see at least three 
  23. image icons, one or more grey boxes with red circles in them... "no image" 
  24. icons... and icons representing the drives and directories of your system. 
  25. Clicking on these will work just like clicking on the names in the traditional 
  26. list box mode.

  28. You can get to the list box mode by selecting Use Thumbnails from the 
  29. Thumbnails menu. This is a toggle... selecting it again will return you to 
  30. thumbnail mode. You can configure Graphic Workshop to always come up in its
  31. list box mode through the Setup dialog.

  33. There is much more extensive help in this release of Graphic Workshop, with 
  34. Help buttons in most of the dialogs. If you get stuck, click on Help.

  38.     - Support for JPEG compression and the Independent JPEG Group's JFIF 
  39.       file format.

  41.     - Additional colour reduction and dithering options.

  43.     - Better memory management.

  45.     - Context sensitive help.
  46.  
  47.     - PFS:First Publisher ART file support.
  48.  
  49.     - Resizeable main window.
  50.  
  51.     - Thumbnail image mode.
  52.  
  53.     - Key word search and comment fields for each image.

  55.     - Easier setup.

  57. Graphic Workshop for Windows has become more powerful, but it hasn't gotten
